Bucky Barnes is still mostly The Asset, and he’s pretty sure Hydra is going to come back for him soon, so in the meantime he’s just going to keep an eye on the Avengers for them. But then Clint spotted him hiding in the shadows, so Tony came out and dragged Bucky back to the Tower, threw him in the shower, and fed him cheeseburgers.
Now The Asset is having anomalous feelings. In his pants.
2nd Most Kudos: The Roommate Situation, with 7330 kudos MCU - winteriron, E (actually NOT with tisfan!)
At loose ends after his release from the Army, Bucky finds himself with a crappy job at Hydra Securities and an even crappier living situation, sharing a studio apartment with a roommate who thinks a tacked-up sheet creates sufficient privacy to engage in BDSM while Bucky’s trying to sleep. Bucky is counting down the days until the end of the lease and spending as much time as he can at Steve’s already-overcrowded apartment… Until one night he overhears his roommate ignoring a clear “no” from his latest one-night stand and decides to intervene.

Tony’s got a company to innovate for, a caffeine habit, and a particularly persistent stalker. He thought getting a big dog might discourage the stalker. He got Bucky, and so much more than he ever bargained for.
Bucky killed the wrong man, and now he’s got a year to prove that he’s changed his ways before the werewolf curse consumes his soul as well as his body. He was just looking for a way to get through the year. He wasn’t counting on Tony.

The doctor pulled out the teacher’s chair and sat across from Steve, his hands folded and his face solemn and kindly. “It happens once in a while,” he said. His voice was soft and gentle, and irrationally, it made Steve angry. Such ugly news ought to be delivered in a more fitting tone. “The most likely cause is that your intended mate died before you were born or shortly after they were born, before the bond had time to fully form. It’s called a Type C or a Type–”
Steve wasn’t interested in the terminology. “Is that why I’m… like this?” He gestured down at his frail, sickly body.
“Probably,” the doctor said. “There are some further tests we can give you, down at the hospital, to determine–”
“Why bother?” Steve growled, slumping back in his chair and crossing his arms. “My mate is dead and no one else is going to want me, not like this.” Tears stung his eyes and he blinked them back furiously.
“It’s also possible, though less likely, that you’re a Type A – firstborn of the pairing – but that your mate has simply not yet been born,” the doctor said.

Silco does crime, flirts (and more) with Ximena, sets himself up as the head of the chem-baron coalition, and discovers something both alarming and intriguing about Jayce’s studies.
Jayce keeps his head down and continues his research (especially the research he’d promised Ximena he’d stop), bonds with Silco, gets a lab partner, and participates in a few exciting new discoveries.
